If you want a magnetic mat, you should look for an old removable magnetic sign that people use on the side of a vehicle to advertise. You can then cut it to the size you want, turn it upside down and you now you have a magnetic mat. These can be dressed up further by taking the Tool Box Liner process from above and gluing it to the magnetic sign.
The drawer liner is easily customized to your drawer size by trimming with knife or scissors along the convenient one inch grid. If toolbox liner should lose its tackiness, simply wipe with a damp cloth to renew the grip. The incremented lines are great for organizing wrenches or screwdrivers by size. Woodcarvers will also love this system as a way to organize their woodcarving knives and gouges.

That is an interesting and different texture. I'm not happy with the corrugated stuff I have as it tends to creep. Cardboard was better before I lined my drawers with the stuff I bought.
